Lincolnshire Echo - Friday, 31 October 2003 Dear Sir, Labour MEP Phillip Whitehead complains that the threat to the name of Waterloo Station is a “Euro myth”. There is no official EU plan, he says. But there IS a plan from an EU official as the Lincolnshire Echo correctly reported. Mr Whitehead is playing with words. He is using a well-worn propaganda technique. He invents a false story, knocks it down, then blames his opponents. Nice try Phillip, but it won’t wash. Your “Euro myth” is not a myth at all. It is a plain fact. Yours faithfully, Roger Helmer MEP
