Is Labour about to join the EPP? On October 26th, Roger spoke in the Tony Blair debate in Strasbourg and suggested that as "Mr. Hans-Gert Poettering of the EPP is as New Labour as they come", Blair might like to pull his MEPs out of the socialist PES group, and apply to join the EPP instead. Perhaps Tony is taking Roger's advice -- here he is seen shaking hands with Herr Poettering. |
